Although many brides in the DMV favor Spring and Fall weddings, every year we see more weddings held in the Summer and even Winter months.  My husband and I actually chose August to get married, which is probably a crazy idea with the heat that time of year, but since we met in August we thought it would be nice to get married on the anniversary of the date we met.  There really is no perfect time to get married but it is always nice to try and take weather into consideration, especially if your ceremony and/or reception will be held outside.  Given the record high heat expected today, I thought I would share a great tool to predict the weather on your Wedding day.

On weather.com, you can create a profile for your Wedding day to see predicted weather based on the past few years, as well as weather related tips for that day.  You can even add other events (shower, bachelorette party) and save your profile to check back later.
