Last year we had the pleasure to work with Jennifer and Max for their elegant summer DC wedding at Carnegie Institution for Science. Jennifer and Max chose to have both their wedding ceremony, which was officiated by a family member, and wedding reception at Carnegie Institution for Science. We work love working with couples who are getting married at Carnegie Institution for Science to plan and coordinate their Washington, DC wedding. We work there often and it still is fresh and new every time. Some of our favorite features of the venue are it’s classic DC style architecture and stunning marble rotunda. Jennifer and Max and a wonderful wedding and everything was perfectly captured by Sarah Bradshaw Photography (see the full DC wedding vendor list below). Here is part 1, from the start of their elegant summer DC wedding at Carnegie Institution for Science. We will be back later this week with more from their wedding reception.
To start their day, Jennifer and Max got ready separately at the Loews Madison Hotel, they then did a first look and photos by the National Mall and Union Station.
We loved these bouquets by Love Blooms with seasonal pink and white flowers, check out the size of those dahlias!
Jen, Max and their wedding party made their way to Carnegie to do some photos before the ceremony started.
I love how the natural light in the Rotunda at Carnegie made their ceremony even more magical.
