St. Regis Glamorous Washington, DC Wedding Reception – part 2

Amanda and Michael planned their St Regis glamorous Washigton, DC wedding reception this past September. We shared their wedding ceremony earlier this week, and are back with their stunning reception. Bride Amanda wore the most incredible lavender wedding gown from Hayley Paige and had such a great vision for an enchanted garden wedding. Their wedding included an abundance of purple and white flowers, dramatic tree centerpieces, twinkly lights and special lounge seating for the ceremony and wedding reception. We love working with couples to plan and style their weddings in the Washington, DC region that include beautiful fresh flowers and pretty details. All perfectly captured by Sarah Bradshaw Photography (see the full DC wedding vendor list below). Here are the highlights of their St Regis wedding reception in Washigton, DC.

We love when couples find fun ways to personalize their wedding. As a nod to Amanda & Mike’s nicknames for each other (panda and turtle), they found cute ways to add panda and turtles such as this custom corn hole set and on top of their stunning wedding cake.

During cocktail hour, mini-Chicago style hot dogs were served in honor of Amanda’s home town.St. Regis Washington Wedding, Wedding Planning by Bright Occasions, Sarah Bradshaw Photography
This dramatic tree escort card display from B Floral Event Design, was even more incredible in person. And those place cards from The Dandelion Patch are a perfect compliment to the floral design!
We transformed the St Regis ballroom for this enchanted wedding reception with purple uplighting and special linen, place settings and chairs via DC Rental. Tables featured two types of centerpieces alternating on tables, half of the tables had beautiful tall tree-like centerpieces that the florist created on-site and half of the tables had complimenting low designs with lush florals.

Isn’t this wedding cake divine?! St. Regis created a classic cake and our floral partner covered it in flowers, inspired by Silvia Weinstock’s style, but in fresh and not sugar flowers.

As fellow lovers of sweets, they included a custom dessert spread and passed mini-ice cream cones. We utilized the terrace for our dessert & coffee stations and guests were able to take advantage of the lounge set-ups via furniture from Revolution Event Design.
