Due to the wonderful response to the first Beyond the Blackout event, the second BTB was co-produced by Bright Occasions and LaJoy Plans and held at the iconic Anderson House in Washington, DC. This event once again was in response to the larger Black Lives Movement and inequities in the events industry. Featuring a vendor panel discussion, amazing opening performances by Luxe Entertainment and the Center Stage Academy for the Arts, bridal fashion from Icon Bridal, and delicious food from Chops by Rera. Myron at M Fields Photography was the event photographer and Kate Fine Art supported Myron with panel photography. The event was also captured by Blair Williams Productions.
