Copper and White DC Wedding at the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) – Real Wedding for S&A Part 1

Last year we had the honor to work with Staci and Andy for their Copper and White DC Wedding at DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution). DAR is one of our favorite historic DC wedding venues. It’s a beautiful setting, with a great location, the Portico and terrace event space has an amazing view of the Washington Monument. So it’s an ideal setting for couples who want to give their guests a very DC experience. Staci and Andy, who are from Oklahoma City and live in Delaware, wanted to plan their destination wedding in DC. We love working with couples to plan and design their Washington, DC destination weddings. To start their wedding day, Staci and Andy started the getting ready process at The Hotel Palomar and then chose to do photos at DAR. It was unfortunately raining all morning and afternoon, but the talented Lissa Ryan Photography managed to get amazing photos and still used some outdoor areas at DAR that were covered and dry. Looking at their photos, you may not even know it was raining that day, proving that DAR is a wonderful venue rain or shine. They had a short and sweet wedding ceremony officiated by Staci’s brother.
