When my bride Katie described her desire for an eclectic, personal and DIY wedding at Murray Hill, I was excited to work with her and help plan the logistics and decor. The wedding color palette is citrus (yellow, orange, green) with white and gray. Billy balls and succulents will be included in the personal flowers, with a variety of yellow, white, green and orange floral bud vases will line her long tables. Chinese lanterns will be used to create a large chandelier inside the barn at Murray Hill. Katie’s J.Crew dress will be accessorized with a gorgeous gold Grecian style headpiece and yellow gladiator sandals. It’s been really fun to plan Katie’s wedding and I can’t wait for her ceremony and reception that will include some interesting traditions from her Groom’s Scandinavian heritage.
