Engagement Pictures

One of the best parts about being engaged is the excitement couple’s feel as they plan the rest of their lives together.  I believe every engaged woman glows from happiness and love – it is the best time to take pictures together and I love that most photographers now include an engagement session within their wedding package.  So as you are looking into photography for your wedding, consider including an engagement session!  Not only is it a nice way to get to know one of your important wedding vendor’s, but it also provides amazing pictures to keep and remember this very special time.

As you plan your engagement photos, here are a few things to consider:

  •  Time of Year – Do you have a favorite season?  Do you want the weather to be warm enough to be outside?  If you love the Fall, consider taking your engagement pictures at a time of year when pretty Fall leaves are everywhere.
  • Location – Where you take your pictures will have a major impact on the backdrop, the location can really add to your pictures, so choose a place that is beautiful.
  • Have fun –  Whether it is wearing a cute outfit, asking for unique shots, and just letting loose with your partner – it will all show in your photos.
  • Ask your Photographer -If you aren’t sure what will work, ask your photographer!  They are the best resource for this and will happily provide suggestions.
