When I think of wedding design my mind immediately goes to beautiful and lush flowers. Whether you are going for a modern and streamlined look or something soft and romantic; flowers can transform a space and set the tone. I love working with florists who can translate my clients vision, while also providing great design ideas and gorgeous blooms. Shelly Bagdasian, of B Floral and Event Design, is one of my favorite florists in the area. One of the things I love about Shelly is her excitement and love for floral design. Shelly has a tremendous eye for detail and creates simply beautiful work.
Meet Shelly: Hi, I am Shelly Bagdasian of B Floral and Event Design. I started in this business by chance, meeting an amazing designer who was just starting her own business and needed some extra help. My degree and professional experience was in interior design and I was searching for something different and more creative. I am now in my sixth year of business and still love it!
I love seeing a space transform into an elegant event. Flowers are such a big part of that. I love creating arrangements, bouquets and spaces that my clients have been dreaming of! The loose, lush, organic style is very popular right now. Compote designs and interesting containers are also very popular. I think gold will be really taking off, as well as, full lush arrangements.
Currently we are gearing up for holiday decorating and holiday weddings. I love that each season brings a different look, feel and floral style. Thank you to Margo at The Bright Occasions for having me in the “spotlight”!
