I haven’t done many personal posts but since my anniversary is coming up, I wanted to take a moment to reminisce about one of the best days of my life (so far): August 8, 2010. I look back on my wedding day with fond memories and a huge smile. And the best part of my wedding day was the actual ceremony and getting married to my husband Dave. It was magical! For so many couples, the actual ceremony, vows and marriage are too often overlooked by the flowers, food, and emphasis placed on the reception. Don’t get me wrong, I am all about an amazing celebration, but my hope for couples is that they go into their wedding planning and wedding day remembering the most important part – their love and commitment for a life together.
