We are back with more from this heartfelt summer DC wedding ceremony and reception at The Hay-Adams Hotel for Maya and Alex. We love working with with couples to plan their Washington, DC weddings in the heart of DC, and The Hay-Adams could not be a more perfect location to get married. For their wedding, Maya and Alex planned a celebration that was elegant yet playful, which I would say perfectly describes both of their personalities and styles. Every single detail that they chose to include was so thoughtful, classic, elegant and very “them”. Incorporating a color palette of white, gray, green and navy with blush and peach accents, this wedding was fresh and summery. Sidra Forman perfectly executed their wish for a floral design that was organic and loose with texture and lots of greenery. We also included an abundance of candlelight on the tables and hanging above that became more dramatic as the night went on. We were lucky to have Astrid Photography there to photograph the day (see the full DC wedding vendor list below).
