Ombre Wedding Inspiration

Ombre styling burst onto the wedding scene a few years ago and has been increasing in popularity ever since. It’s great for those who want to infuse color in a chic and playful manner. Here are some fun ways to incorporate this lasting trend into your wedding:

1 – Attire. Have your ladies select dresses in one color palette from dark to light. Keep the bouquet flowers white or neutral to keep the overall look clean and not too busy.

2 – Invitation Set. A beautiful watercolor ombre invitation is perfect for a Spring or Summer wedding. Keep the other wedding stationery elements the same or mix and match the color palette.

3- Day-of Stationery. I love when all of the stationery has a cohesive look. So consider incorporating the same designs for programs, escort cards, table signage and more. Or switch it up but go with complimentary colors, fonts and general style.

4 –  Wedding Cake/Desserts. Beautiful ombre wedding cakes and dessert displays are a great way to infuse color and maintain your signature style throughout the details. Plus there is something super sweet about dessert eye candy.

5 – Ceremony Decor. For a ceremony with that wow factor, incorporate a floral ombre runner or backdrop. My advice is to pick one though, not both, for something that is refined with a bit of whimsy.

6 – Reception Decor. Infuse ombre decor with the overall reception tables (linens/chairs) and floral designs.
