Valentine’s Day is a day to celebrate love and romance and such a perfect time of year to get married. At Bright Occasions, we feel love and romance shouldn’t just be on Valentine’s Day (and nor should those pretty pink and red wedding details). Though we do love celebrating the holiday! I have discussed Valentine’s Day Inspiration in the past, so you may already be aware of my affinity for the lovely inspiration ideas available. We love working with clients in the DC area to dream up classic and beautiful wedding design ideas. In honor of the holiday, we have dreamt up the lovely pink and red Valentine’s Day wedding inspiration board below. We’ve incorporated a rich marsala red, blush and deep green foliage. The end result is a super dreamy and romantic look for your wedding.

Pink and Red Valentines Day Wedding Inspiration, Bridal Bouquet via Wedding Chicks
When thinking about the overall color story of a wedding, the floral component and especially the bridal bouquet is often a focal point. Sometimes the bridal bouquet is the first idea and we draw inspiration through the colors, texture and shape. I loved this bouquet from Wedding Chicks that includes shades of pink, blush and deep red with accents of white, purple and deep green foliage.

Blush and colored wedding dresses have definitely gained popularity over the past few years. A blush bridal gown is a very feminine and romantic look for a bride. And this Monique Lhuillier gown, as seen on Style Me Pretty, is perfect for our pink and red Valentine’s Day wedding inspiration board.

When choosing a colored wedding dress, the bridesmaid dress pairing becomes a bit more difficult. A marsala bridesmaid dress would be a perfect compliment to our blush wedding dress. For today’s bridesmaids, choosing a color or range of colors and letting the girls pick their own dress is a great option.

They say “the devil is in the details”; which really means that the details do matter. We encourage couples to be creative and think outside the box. And ultimately incorporate details that are reflective of your style, personality and/or taste.
Pink and Red Valentines Day Wedding Inspiration, Trio of Wedding Cakes via The Perfect Palette
Why have one cake when you can have three. We love this trio of wedding cakes with mix and match designs. This option allows you to choose three designs and not just stick to one.
