Here is Part 2 of our real DC Wedding at the Josephine Butler Parks Center for Annie and Josh. See part 1, to view their first look and intimate ceremony. Annie and Josh included a lot of unique DIY elements, local and seasonal choices for food, decor and vendors, a fun swing band and many other memorable aspects! Their wedding was featured on Capitol Romance; photography by Knotty Photos. It was such a fun wedding to be a part of; Annie and Josh are such a great couple! My team had a lot of fun decorating the Josephine Butler Parks Center Mansion with all of the unique DIY decor projects that Annie and Josh made, including pinwheel decor and potted plants from their garden. These are really great examples of successful DIY for they are easy to produce and double as great favors to give away at the end of the night. In addition to the potted plant favors, they also gave out these adorable mason jar cups for guests to use that night and take home. It was truly a green wedding in so many regards! Gina DeSimone & the Moaners did a fabulous job as the wedding music and entertainment. A couple members played during cocktail hour and the full band played the reception. To start the night, Annie and Josh danced for the first time as husband and wife, and then family members toasted the couple. After dinner, the party started with swing dancing, everyone had a great time getting into it! In addition to the great music, Annie and Josh hired a silhouette artist for guests to take home personalized silhouette favors! The beautiful photos are all from Knotty Photos. Thanks again to all vendors who helped make Annie and Josh’s wedding so special!
