Real Wedding for Emily and Andrew at The Westin Georgetown – Part 1

I have been so excited to share Emily and Andrew’s wedding at St. Francis Episcopal Church and The Westin Georgetown, since their wedding day this past November. Throughout the day, there were so many wonderful moments and the couple even included their adorable furbaby in some of their photos! Emily is such a smart, sweet and beautiful girl and was a stunning bride. Her and Andrew also have such loving and supportive parents, family and friends. They were a really fun and sweet group to work with! One of my favorite aspects of working with my couples and their families is seeing them so happy and relaxed on the wedding day. Photographer Anne Lord was there to capture everything! I am honored to have been able to work with Emily and Andrew, here is part 1 of their day!

Emily and her bridesmaids started the day getting ready at The Westin. Marquia Kinard from Blend and Julie Flury from Jewel Hair Design did a wonderful job on everyone’s hair and make-up. Emily’s dress was gorgeous! And how adorable is her pup?

Andrew and his groomsmen spent the morning hanging and out and getting ready in Bethesda (At Emily’s brothers home). I love their gray suits, navy ties, matching socks and fun shades.

Emily and Andrew chose not to see each other before their ceremony. You could tell that this made them each even more excited for the wedding!

Emily’s fall bouquets, invitations and ceremony decor made her wedding one of my favorites from the Fall. Petal’s Edge did a wonderful job. I love the mix of roses, dahlias, calla lilies and berries from Emily’s bridal bouquet.

After the ceremony, guests sent the couple off with bubbles from the steps of the Church. The beautiful photos are all from Anne Lord Photography. Part 2, including bridal party and reception photos, will be posted later this week!
