Real Wedding for Jenny and Dave at St. Francis Hall

Last fall I had the pleasure to work with Jenny and Dave for their lovely wedding and cocktail reception at St. Francis Hall. I loved bride Jenny’s style and approach, she and Dave were looking to plan something that would be simple yet elegant, with a focus on quality vs. over the top. Just like Jenny’s own style, I would describe this wedding as effortless chic. It wasn’t fussy or elaborate, but we maximized the details in the space and focused on setting the scene for an unforgettable party. In the end, it was great to watch Jenny, Dave and their family have the best time celebrating their love. It was such an honor to be a part of their wedding. Here are the wedding day highlights:

Jenny and family rented a house instead of staying at a hotel. It made for a fun weekend and a relaxed time getting ready the morning-of. Of course their wedding fell on a weekend that was calling for severe rain and potentially damaging winds. Luckily, as the weekend drew nearer, the threats lessened, but it was still going to be 100% raining. Jenny, Dave and their wedding party made the best of the situation with these super cute rain boots and planned on doing some photos outside with large umbrellas.

I loved Jenny’s Judd Waddell bridal gown, and overall simple yet elegant style.

A violinist played music as guests arrived and for the ceremony processional/recessional. We added in bistro lighting, which made the space feel more intimate and the lighting became more dramatic as the night went on.

Always a favorite moment after the ceremony is seeing how how my couples look!
