Morgan and Dan’s private home wedding was gorgeous, see part 1 to view the highlight video by Mwendo Films, plus photos from the first part of the day (getting ready and portraits). Big fans of astronomy and the stars in general, Morgan and Dan incorporated a celestial theme. I loved their blue, yellow and gray color palette. What stood out the most was their deep love and devotion to one another. You can tell by the way Morgan and Dan look at each other, and the way they talk about one another, these two are true soul mates. Julie Napear Photography captured their love and whole day perfectly.
Their ceremony was held on the lawn with gorgeous local flowers and sunflowers from a nearby farmers market.
After the ceremony, guests enjoyed a cocktail hour on the lawn with passed bites by The Main Ingredient.
With perfect weather, we were able to achieve Morgan and Dan’s big wish to dine under the stars! Tables and bistro lighting were set-up to achieve the perfect summer al fresco dinner party. During dinner, a close friend performed as Master of Ceremony; she also spoke from the heart, sharing a lot of funny and personal moments from her time with Morgan and Dan.
Later, Morgan and Dan shared a first dance and cut their sweet cake. Guests then enjoyed a fun dance party with DJ Gritz & Gravy, a soul, funk and R&B duo from Charlottesville, VA, and took advantage of the Booth-o-Rama photo booth.
