Here is Part 2 of our classic DC Wedding at the National Cathedral School, Hearst Hall for Stephanie and Chase. See Part 1, to view their lovely and traditional ceremony at All Souls Episcopal Church. After the ceremony, guest headed to the National Cathedral School. It was a perfect summer day; guests were able to enjoy cocktails outside on the lawn next to the National Cathedral. Not a bad backdrop for a DC Wedding! Stephanie and Chase had a beautiful wedding reception and Kristin Gardner Photography was there to capture it all! You can also find additional details on their United With Love feature.
Their reception in Hearst Hall included a lot of personal touches and stunning black and white details. Stephanie and her mom created many of the gorgeous decor accents themselves. I loved that Stephanie incorporated her equestrian background with the place cards and table numbers. As a nod to Chase’s southern background, they served a “Southern Arnold Palmer” made with sweet tea vodka and lemonade. Stephanie took advantage of United With Love’s DIY DC-inspired drink flags, they were so cute.
Kelly Shore, owner of Petals by the Shore, did such a beautiful job with the varying low and high white and blush centerpieces. The floral decor added a romantic and elegant feeling to this classic wedding. Stephanie has such a great eye and picked out beautiful linens to complete the look.
To start the Reception, Stephanie and Chase were introduced as Husband and Wife and danced for the first time of the night.
Cheers to the happy couple! After dinner toasts were given by the Best Man and Matron of Honor. Stephanie and Chase then cut their beautiful wedding cake by Fluffy Thoughts.
The beautiful reception turned into a fun dance party with DJ Orlando Entertainment. It was so great to see Stephanie and Chase having the best time.
