On the blog this week, we are sharing Alex and Barbara’s romantic wedding at Arena Stage in Washington, DC. From the moment we met Barbara, we were so excited about this wedding. She and Alex have amazing taste and are just so sweet together. We loved that they made it a family affair. Combined, they have 5 children who were all part of the wedding. Barbara was escorted down the aisle by her son, to music (At Last by Etta James) sang by one of her lovely daughters. And the vows left no dry eyes amongst the guests. Afterward, guests enjoyed cocktail hour, dinner and dancing at Arena Stage. Tables were set with romantic candles and fluffy pink and white flowers by B Floral Event Design. As an event planner, we love when couples hire us to help hire the team of vendors, because we know that the end result will be fabulous. We loved Barbara’s beautiful blush gown and the classic white, gold and blush details that were woven throughout with lush greenery accented.
