One year from this weekend I’ll working with a Bride getting married at the Carnegie Institution for Science in DC! I am so excited to be back at one of my favorite venues. It is such a beautiful building with classic DC architecture; the Rotunda where the ceremony will be held is such an elegant and dramatic space. My bride plans to pair ivory and pink peoonies with spring flowers in blush, pinks and peaches. This will be perfect for the season and space; I can already picture the ivory tables with mahogany chivari chairs and soft romantic flowers. With the bridesmaids in Navy gowns, the colors and choices for the flowers will really stand out.
My bride has a vision for something really elegant but not overly stuffy, she plans for the reception to turn into a fun dance party. This will be a night full of love, family, friends and fun. I am so excited to be apart of this wonderful and beautiful wedding!
