The DC Ladies Recap: What to Wear for a Winter Wedding

I was recently invited to attend a winter wedding and had a hard time choosing a dress in my closet that would be appropriate for the season and formality; most of my party dresses are sleeveless and in light weight fabrics.  I know that I am not alone when I have my “nothing to wear” moments, but simple swaps and fixes can help take your summer (/fall/spring) dress to a winter wedding.  Check out my full post on The DC Ladies, to see some of my favorite new winter looks at any price.

You can wear your summer (/fall/spring) dress to a winter wedding by adding dark tights, booties, cute cardigans, wraps and faux fur boleros.  For my winter wedding dress dilemma, I wore this maxi dress + black tights and a black wrap, the look was appropriate for the Four Seasons wedding I attended, and I felt beautiful!
