We are back with more from A&J’s beautiful winter wedding that Bright Occasions helped to plan at The Hay-Adams Hotel. We love working at The Hay-Adams, their amazing food, service, and attention to detail are a few reasons that they are so highly regarded for events and weddings in the DC area. A&J were super sweet and also had great ideas and style, we loved working with them to bring their romantic vision to life. Their wedding reception included a super elegant design with hanging roses, flowers and candlelight throughout. If you are like us, and you love feminine details, lush flowers and pretty designs, then you’ll love this wedding. It was so wonderful to work with B Floral Event Design who carried out the floral decor so perfectly and Laura Luis Photography, who captured the celebration so perfectly. See part 1 from this wedding here and part 2 (plus the full vendor list) below.
If possible, we strongly suggest all couples get to see the event space all set-up before the wedding starts! You’ll love taking in all of the details you worked so hard on and having a moment to take everything in is so worth it!
Kendall’s cakes matched our brides cake inspiration perfectly. This cake was so classic and beautiful!
A white house view and this dramatic display of hanging roses and votive candles was jaw dropping beautiful in person. B Floral Event Design was a wonderful partner to team with for this beautiful wedding.
We worked with DC Rental for the specially linen, chargers & chairs and Select Event Group for these beautiful silk napkins and matching custom chair bows for our bride and groom. Everything worked so perfectly together with the floral designs.
Guests enjoyed a delicious winter dinner menu with butternut squash soup and a duo menu that included a petit filet mignon and crake cakes. Assorted desserts, cake and cupcakes were enjoyed over dessert. The chef and team at The Hay-Adams Hotel did a wonderful job for the menu.
Nation from Elan Artists kept the dance floor moving with great music!
In addition to the wedding cake, our clients opted for cupcakes in lieu of a Groom’s Cake. Meghan at Kendall’s created these with a fish design in honor of the groom’s love of fishing!
