A few weeks ago we blogged about our new top favorite bridesmaid dress trends. It’s only fair that we give our best fashion advice on what and when to wear particular suit styles to all the soon-to-be hubbies as well. So pay attention gentleman, because now it’s your turn!

Tweed

Tweed is a complete old time classic in the formal attire world. It went out of style a few decades ago and has recently managed to sneak it’s way back onto our radars. It’s a rustic look that will be right at home at a wedding with vintage elements – which of course is very popular right now. It’s a heavy fabric so the ideal season for this suit would be autumn or winter.

Colored  – Maroon, Grey, Blue

Colored suits – especially blue and grey – have been on the rise for awhile. This is the perfect solution for a groom that doesn’t want to wear the typical black tux and bow tie. Veering away from the expected path is absolutely worth it. We’re even willing to bet that it’s just about impossible not to look sharp in one of these suits. Keeping the groomsmen in black is also a great way to make the groom stand out.

No tie

And last, but not least, we’ve noticed another new trend that is perfect for a couple with a more laid-back style. Foregoing the tie is a very casual and hipster-esque approach to wedding attire, but one that still looks classy. It’s every groom’s dream not to have to wear a tie all day and night. This suit would be ideal for warm season weddings at casual outdoor venues, like a winery or garden.
