Back with more beautiful Vibrant Dutch Wedding Inspiration with Rachael Foster Photography, see part 1 here and the full feature in Style Me Pretty. The culture and landscape of Friesland (and the Netherlands) served as the inspiration for this fresh, bright and romantic wedding. It was fun to the Dutch culture to create this beautiful wedding and thank you to all the vendors who contributed (the full list is below). Though Friesland is a small province, it is rich in heritage. Some things that are synonymous with Friesland are clocks, windmills, horses and brightly trimmed farmhouses. For our place card table, we incorporated a traditional Frisian coffee/tea set and antique clocks. One of my favorite parts of any wedding is the reception space and specifically designing beautiful tables. We set our main table al fresco and combined delft china patterns with blue glassware and bright blooms. The cream jute linen, royal blue napkins and tuscan chairs were a perfect compliment. For a day-time wedding, why not serve a brunch menu, RSVP Catering provided fresh fruit for our first course. No dutch wedding is complete without amazing desserts, coffee and tea. Our coffee and tea bar included hot cocoa along with confections of Dutch pastry, chocolate dipped spoons, sugar crystal sticks, cream and honey. Our dessert table had an array of sweets and of course, “Dutch Orange” macarons. Rexmake designs provided a stunning backdrop handmade from blue fabric. We used this as a “Photo Booth” background, but it could also be used as decor for a ceremony or reception. At the end of the day a horse drawn carriage was the perfect send-off for our “newlyweds”.
