Wedding Invitations are Not a Throw Away Item

Some people think of wedding invitations as a “throw away” item; something not to spend too much time, money, or focus on. But in reality, invitations are an important item and detail for the wedding. They are one of the first impressions your guests will have of the big day.

Today in DC, couples are lucky to have amazing resources for invitation shopping. There are wonderful local options for custom invitations, these can be created to match or compliment the existing wedding style. We also have local retail options that carry high-end designs and letterpress. The sky is the limit these days to be as creative or classic as you’d like.

In addition to the invitation itself, I recommend a cohesive look for all of the wedding stationery. It’s a great option to work with a designer to match place cards, programs, table numbers, menus and signage to the style of the invitation. It creates a unified look that is unique to your wedding.
