One of things we love about working with clients to plan their gorgeous and one of a kind event, is getting to know our clients and their family. It was such a pleasure to work closely with our bride and her mom for this classic black tie wedding at Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) in Washington, DC. A&B chose to add in pops of red to their traditional color palette of white, cream, black and gold, and it all came together so beautifully. A&B held their ceremony and reception at DAR, but flipped the traditional use of the space. Many clients choose to have a ceremony outdoors, but instead we did the ceremony inside the stunning O’Byrne gallery and then cocktails flowed between the Library and front foyer. We then invited guests to dine alfresco on the terrace at DAR overlooking the Washington Monument. Later they danced through the night back inside the O’Byrne gallery. Thank you so much to Bonnie Sen Photography and the entire team of wedding professionals who helped make this a wonderful wedding. This wedding was previously featured on District Weddings.
