When I met my bride Emilie and her fiance Chuck at the Rawlings Conservatory in Baltimore to talk about their upcoming September wedding, I could immediately tell that this was a loving and creative couple. Not only do they make a great team by planning the wedding together, but they are also thinking about ways to make the night fun and personal for their friends and family. For their engagement, Emilie told Chuck that all she needed was a twist tie, so their cute engagement story happened when he pretended to go look for a twist tie but came back with an engagement ring. They are planning to incorporate twist ties on the ring bearer pillow, among other cool DIY projects!
The Rawlings Conservatory and Botanical Garden is a beautiful space, that really does not need a ton of work or decor. They plan to use the primary colors of purple and silver and incorporate succulents. Some of the DIY projects in the works include bouquets and succulent centerpieces.
