Fairmont Spring Wedding in Washington, DC for Becky and Harry – Part 1

Spring weddings in Washington, DC are always full of beautiful blooms and this elegant wedding at The Fairmont Hotel was one of our favorites from this past year. This stylish NYC based couple, Becky & Harry were a joy to work with in planning their romantic Fairmont Hotel spring wedding in Washington, DC. One of my favorite parts of planning weddings and events in DC is getting to know each couple and it truly was a pleasure to get to know Becky and Harry and their family and friends. With their fun group of bridesmaids and groomsmen, Becky and Harry decided to take advantage of Spring in Washington, DC by taking photos with blossoms and beautiful DC architecture. This early spring wedding included a color palette of peach, navy, white, silver and rose gold accents, and was beautifully captured by Deb Lindsey Photography (see the full DC wedding vendor list below). Becky wore an off the shoulder lace sheath dress by Lela Rose and fashion forward Jimmy Choo heels.

I loved Becky’s choice to let her bridesmaids pick any Navy dress from Jenny Yoo. The bridal bouquet and bridesmaid bouquets with white and peach flowers, pops of dusty miller and succulents completed the look.

The huge crowd pleaser at this spring wedding was the excellently executed chuppah decor by Yellow Door Floral. With light and airy drapery that paired beautifully with hanging peach, green, and white blooms. This stunning design was a late addition to the event styling, and it goes to show you that whenever you are inspired, you should go for it!
