Romantic Fall Eggplant, Wine and Burgundy Wedding

As a big romantic, I love that I get to be apart of one of the most romantic events in a person’s life.  I am really excited for Paulina and Josh’s November wedding, which as Paulina describes, will include a dark and romantic setting.  They plan to use a warm Fall color palette of eggplant and burgundy, lots of candles, wine details and Vodka (for Paulina’s Russian roots).  Their wedding will not only represent who they are as individuals, but it will tie in who they are as a couple and their engagement story (below).  It is sure to be a beautiful and festive occasion!

Paulina and Josh’s Story:   In December 2010 we traveled to Europe together.  We had an amazing trip with stops in Paris, Milan, Pavia (to celebrate a friend’s wedding), Florence and Rome.  The highlight was our Florence stay.  While in Florence, we went to a delicious and informative wine tasting, and Josh purchased a bottle after the tasting for a souvenir.  However, there was also another reason to this purchase.  Josh bought the wine to commemorate what turned into a very special night.  While walking along the Arno River, Josh proposed!  As a bonus to this story, after our romantic walk, we realized we had been locked out of the entrance to the main street.  We had to scale a brick wall – no big deal- after we celebrated with Leffe beer and Pringles.
