Bridesmaids are such a huge part of a bride’s big day and every bride wants her girls to look amazing. (But not too good, right? …Just kidding!) Well there are certainly lots of trends that come and go, but our Bright Occasions team hopes there are a few here to stay. We’ve put together a list below of our favorite fashions that we’ve seen become popular lately and we hope you love them as much as we do!
Sequins
Nothing is more glamorous than gold sequined gowns! These beautiful dresses really make a statement when they walk into a room and your bridesmaids will love you for picking out something so elegant. Can’t you already picture your wedding photos?
Mix & Match
Mix and matching your bridesmaids dresses definitely has it’s pros. That way every bridesmaid can pick something that will accentuate their own personal body figures and coloring – it’s also helpful if price range is an issue. Many brides pick a theme, for example short/long dresses or coloring and the bridesmaids can go to town from there.
Prints
Dresses with prints are especially fun to have in the summer and spring seasons. They’re light and airy and your bridesmaids will feel absolutely gorgeous. These dresses definitely stand out in a crowd!
White
White dresses are unconventional, but they really are quite becoming. They make it easy to accessorize with color or flowers and are simplistically beautiful.
Rent the Runway
Lastly, we’ll talk about a new bridesmaid trend that isn’t necessarily about what style of dress but where you get it from. Many bridesmaids are actually now renting their gowns and accessories from companies like Rent the Runway, just like groomsmen do. It’s perfect for thrifty bridesmaids on a budget or who have simply been in so many weddings that their closet can’t hold anymore dresses. Definitely worth looking into!
