Today we are sharing D&M’s elegant summer wedding at the St. Regis Washington. We love working at venues in Washington, DC that have unique ceremony and reception spaces. And the St. Regis Washington is at the top of our list for hotel venues. It is a great option for couples who want an inside-outside event because of the stunning courtyard terrace, which is located right off the ballroom. And when it does rain, the back-up inside ceremony and reception spaces are still gorgeous. On the morning of D&M’s wedding, we realized we would have to move inside due to rain. But luckily we were still able to take advantage of the beautiful courtyard at the St. Regis for photos prior to the ceremony with Barbara O Photography. As a fun nod to D’s background, we had the Panquility Steel Band play music during cocktail hour. We truly love working with couples on their wedding planning and brainstorming ways to bring in personal elements to their celebrations.
